Why This Structure

You can — many people try. But in my 25+ years of website design for thousands of entrepreneurs, I never recommend those types of platforms (and there are many reasons why.)

This exists for people who want something cleaner, more professional, and structured correctly without wasting time rebuilding it later.

Those third-party platforms – that own all of the structure – are not what the most serious entrepreneurs find works best for them as they grow.

“All-in-one” usually means you’re locked into someone else’s system. It seems fast up front (but isn’t always); it’s hard to grow, hard to move, and often limited in ways you don’t notice (like SEO) until later.

I recommend setups that let you start simple without boxing you in when your business evolves.

Social platforms are borrowed space. You don’t own it and while it seems like you have control, you actually have zero.

Algorithms change, accounts get limited and banned, and links break.

A real website gives you a stable place you control, where people can always find accurate information about your business.

I recommend setups that let you start simple without boxing you in when your business evolves.

Because bad foundations cost more later than doing it right now.

A lot of quick websites are designed in ways that trap you — on the wrong platform, in the wrong structure, or in something that has to be rebuilt when you grow.

This avoids that. Intentionally. Simple on the surface. Solid underneath.

It’s a real website. A professionally structured one-page site designed to clearly explain who you are, what you do, and how people can contact you.

Getting Started & Setup

Yes. I always recommend this because we are structuring you for the long-term, and serious businesses have their own URL.

It becomes the foundation of everything you do online. Your domain is where your content lives, where search engines learn about your business, and where future visibility builds over time. Even if you keep your site simple now, using your own domain means you’re laying groundwork for future SEO instead of starting from zero later.

  1. Buy a domain name if you don’t have one. We show you exactly how.
  2. Pay your first month and receive login information.
  3. Complete two short, required trainings:
    • First helps you strategize what to include on your site. This is one of the most important things any entrepreneur can ever do. I make sure it’s well worth your time and share some of my most requested expertis
    • Second training is a simply walkthrough of how to set up and edit your page. If you can use Word or Google Doc, you can do this.

If we set it up for you, the second training can be skipped.

Almost none. If you can use Microsoft Word or a Google Doc you can do this.

No technical background is required. You’ll be shown how to work within the page without breaking anything or getting lost in settings.

Yes … and no.

You’re not designing from scratch. We provide a template that you can just plug and play.

You’re working inside a proven layout with guardrails, so you focus on your words and message, not design decisions.

Yet you get full control of designing almost whatever you want if that’s what you prefer.

That’s common.

I give you professional guidance based upon decades of working with entreprreneurs.

I will guide you on what belongs on the page and what doesn’t, so you’re not guessing or overthinking it.

Content and Features

Yes. That is definitely an option.

I show you how to structure the page so it works both as a full website and as a clean link destination for social profiles on mobile.

Absolutely!

This is one of the spots that we do oversee, to keep everyone compliant with copyright and make sure that no viruses or malware get inadvertently introduced on the site.

Uploading and managing images is controlled to keep the site clean, fast, and secure. Just send us what you want, and it will be available. Or we can source properly licensed images for you.

Yes. The layout is fully responsive and designed to look good on all devices.

Yes. You can make simple text and link updates yourself after training, or you can choose to have updates handled for you.

Yes. It’s a live website that can be indexed and shared like any normal site.

We provide information on how to make that happen, and we structure it in a way so that any SEO you build up now follows you later.

Update Plans

The Full Care Plan covers routine page updates and light changes, so you never have to touch the site yourself.

Each month, this includes up to 30 minutes of combined content update work, such as:

  • small text edits or copy tweaks
  • button or link changes
  • swapping or adding up to two images
  • updating contact info, hours, or pricing
  • minor layout adjustments using existing sections

This plan is designed for ongoing maintenance and small improvements — not rebuilding the site every month. Unused minutes do not roll over.

Monthly updates do not include:

  • new sections or major layout changes

  • full page rewrites

  • brand redesigns or new branding assets

  • large image batches or galleries

  • new pages or funnels

  • ecommerce setup beyond simple links

  • SEO strategy, keyword research, or blog content

If a request would change the structure of the page or go beyond the monthly allowance, it’s handled separately.

If a request goes beyond what’s included in your monthly plan, you’ll be told before any work begins.

You can then choose to:

  • roll it into a future month

  • use a one-time update option

  • upgrade your site or service level

There are no surprise charges and no automatic overages.

Yes. You can add or remove the Full Care Plan as your needs change, based on the terms in your service agreement. Just let us know.

Seasonal and one-time updates are for occasional changes that don’t need ongoing monthly management.

These are ideal for things like:

  • swapping messaging for a promotion, event, or show

  • updating offers or services for a specific season

  • refreshing buttons, links, or images for a campaign

They’re handled as one-time updates, priced separately, and are a good option if you don’t need continuous monthly changes.

If you need regular updates or prefer not to manage the site yourself, the Full Care Plan may be a better fit.

Future-Proofing and Growth

Yes. You can make simple text and link updates yourself after training, or you can choose to have updates handled for you.

Yes. And this is where a lot of people get screwed, and why I intentionally designed this different.

This is built so you actually own it.
No proprietary builders. No locked platforms. No “you have to stay with us” setups.

If you ever decide to expand it yourself or work with someone else, you can take it with you.

That’s expected. This is designed as a starting point, not a dead end.

You can expand when your business needs it. by either upgrading to a 5-page site, or we can help you migrate to a full-blown custom website.

If you decide to upgrade to a full website in the future from a one-page starter site or 5-page growth site, eligible monthly site fees from the most recent two years are credited toward your upgrade cost.

Unlike most “starter” websites, where monthly fees are simply expenses you never see again, this is designed to be an investment in your future growth.

Full details around eligibility are outlined in the service agreement you’ll sign when you get started.

Ownership, Policies and Guardrails

There isn’t one.

This is intentionally simple and strategically affordable. My hope is that when your business grows, you’ll want me involved in the next phase because the experience was solid and straightforward — not because you’re stuck.

You own your content and branding. The server is hosted and managed by us for you as part of this service, using WordPress which is open source.

If you want full ownership and hosting later, that’s an upgrade path.

No long-term contract. You’re billed monthly. Just contact us via email or text and we will cancel at the end of your current month.

You can grab all of your content before the end (in the training I recommend you back it up anyway!)

If you want to transition to a “full” website instead, we can export your content for you.

No long-term contract. You’re billed monthly.

This isn’t a fit if you need full design freedom, server-level access, custom functionality, a large multi-page site (such as with a full blog) or fully-fledged ecommerce site right away.

It’s intentionally simple; we have other solutions for you for the rest and am happy to speak with you about those options.
