Canva Design
Answering entrepreneurs’ most burning marketing questions
Pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee, and get quick, targeted marketing advice

Our CEO Vicky Wu brings her 30 years of experience marketing for Fortune 500 companies, multi-million and multi-billion-dollar global corporations to answer your specific marketing questions. Most entrepreneurs aren’t able to find – or afford – access to this level of expertise. And that’s exactly why we’re bringing it to you.

Entrepreneur Question:

How should I go about making my brand's visual content appear more trustworthy, refined, and professional? What I'm putting together in Canva never looks professional enough! How can I make things look consistent?

Should I hire someone? Use a photographer? Use a template? Or figure it out somehow?!

Expert Answer:

Actually, I have a really quick and simple answer for you here.

I’m assuming you aren’t looking to outsource yet; I always believe you should, but I also know most entrepreneurs at the beginning of their journey often cannot. Platforms such as Canva can help you get tasks done.

The easiest way to achieve what you’re looking for with Canva, if you’re not a designer yourself, would be to find a template collection that you really love and purchase it.

Don’t try to turn into a designer if that’s not your job, you need to keep your focus on what’s your zone of genius in your business – which is something I always say.

So buy the template.

And then when you’re at the next point that you need to uplevel your entire brand even more, reach out and we can help you elevate.

Brand Strategist • Fractional CMO • Artist Who Still Cringes at Bad Logos

Before I ever touch colors or logos, I help entrepreneurs uncover what their brand actually needs to say. With over 30 years in marketing and a background in fine art and commercial design, I guide clients through the kind of brand clarity that turns confusion into confidence—and yes, sometimes that starts before you even have a name.

I’ve helped nonprofits, startups, and multi-billion-dollar companies rebrand from the inside out. My process blends psychology, emotion, and positioning strategy so that everything from your messaging to your visual identity finally clicks. I’ve even had logos for large corporations in use for 25+ years—but my real joy is watching entrepreneurs light up when their brand finally feels right.

Because branding isn’t just about how it looks. It’s about how it works.
